Helping accomplished women return to themselves
Wende Valentine
You don't need to become someone new.
You need space, truth and steady support to come back to who you already are.
For the woman who has drifted from herself
I hear it from women all the time, and maybe you feel it too:
-
From the outside, everything works. On the inside, you've lost track of who you are underneath it all.
-
You carry a lot, and you rarely stop to ask what it's costing you.
-
Whether you're rebuilding after a setback or stepping into a powerful new season, you want to flourish without hustling for it.
It doesn't have to stay this way. You can come back to yourself, one honest step at a time.
My Story
I'm Wende.
You’re not broken. You’re buried.
I could give you my résumé. I’ve worked in management and real estate, and I ran my own general contracting business. I’m the mom of two grown boys (yes, I kept them alive), and I’ve been married to the same man since 2000.
But what you do is not who you are.
My real identity has come through only in the last few years. Now I can tell you, comfortably, that I’m kind, witty, direct, wise and fun to be around. I’m brave. I can be obsessive, and sometimes a little absent-minded. And I love who I am.
In 2022, my life came apart in one night. I spent more than a year discovering who I had become after giving away little pieces of myself to everyone around me, and who I still was underneath. Then I got to decide who I would be from there.
That woman is fierce, soft, loving and unstoppable.
Sometimes we just need a little push, or simply permission, to be who we were meant to be all along. We drift off track, and we need to realign before we can move forward. Helping women find that freedom is now my mission.
You already know who you are. I help you return to her.
Space. Truth. Support.
Return to yourself with three things most women rarely give themselves:
-

Space
Room to slow down and hear yourself again, apart from every role you carry.
-

Truth
Honest questions, and the courage to answer them: where you went, and who you still are.
-

Support
Steady company from me and a small circle of women walking the same road home.
A new season. Not a new woman.
A new season. Not a new woman.
What I believe
The Wende Blanket
A place of peace you can carry. Every woman who begins The Work receives one, and for every blanket you buy, I give one to a woman in recovery.
Speaking
Bring Wende to your women.
KEynote topics
-
When you're not busting your butt for everyone to see and trying to conquer the world, who are you? How do you know? And how do you return home to her?
-
One day you wake up and realize the life you dreamed of isn't the one you're living. The movie isn't matching the trailer. This talk is about starting from where you are and making the changes to become who you want to be, living the life you want to live.
-
When it's time for something to change, it doesn't mean you failed. It means you're complete with it, and it's time to move on to the next thing, whether that's a relationship, a career or a chapter that's no longer for you.
-
Joy, alignment and trust. If it does not bring me joy, I do not do it. If it does not align with me, it does not stay with me. If it is for me, God will not let it pass me by. We talk about what each one means day to day, and how they keep you on track in any situation.

Introducing
The Work Within
A small circle of ten women, walking the seven movements together over 15 weeks. We begin January 5, 2027, and enrollment closes December 19, 2026.
It's for women who are ready to take ownership of their lives, not to be rescued from them.
